The Michigan Jaycees Summer Assembly is a weekend full of training, networking, recognition and fun! Join us as we celebrate the success we've achieved during the Second Quarter of our journey to Happily Ever After.
NEW THIS YEAR! Who loves Baseball! On Friday evening, the Michigan Jaycees will be traveling by motorcoach to watch the West Michigan Whitecaps take on the Dayton Dragons at Fifth Third Ballpark at 7:00pm. Watch President Dave and VPs Mark, Wendy, and Angela take part in an-on field challenge. Following the game, watch the fireworks display (weather permitting)!
Notice there are several ticketing options above--if you can't make it to Grand Rapids to catch the bus, feel free to just buy a ticket and meet us at the ballpark. Game time is 7:00pm, bus leaves at 6:15pm.
Following the game and our return to the hotel (around 11:30pm), we will have a (brief!) Opening Ceremony and then DJ AJ will be spinning the tunes.
On Saturday afternoon, we are pleased to welcome David W. Leavell for our keynote training session immediately following the Awards Luncheon & Business Meeting. Mr. Leavell is sought-after trainer on organizational effectiveness, diversity, marketing, and branding, and has worked with the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Reserve, the US Postal Service, several top-tier colleges and universities, and multiple Ambassadors. Mr. Leavell's training will focus on strategic planning and marketing for Jaycee chapters.
Saturday evening, we host the 56th Annual Distinguished Service Awards and Outstanding Young Michigander ceremony, and are honored to welcome as our keynote speaker, the Lt. Governor of the State of Michigan, Brian Calley.
